TMG's Policy to Promote Photovoltaic (PV) Power Generation

Due to the "feed-in tariff", launched on July 2012, the "roof lease business" has been attracting more attention. Through this business, Photovoltaic (PV) power generation companies borrow the roof spaces, set up PV panels, and generate the power, and building owners who offer the rooftop space are able to collect the rent for that. We will introduce how TMG has been promoting to match the building owners and companies. In addition to this, we will explain about TMG’s subsidy program for installing equipments which generate energy for residential buildings as PV system, including application procedures and precautions.

Multi-striped Orthogonal Photon-Photocarrier-Propagation Solar Cells

A next generation solar cell having multi semiconductor stripes with photons and photocarriers moving in orthogonal directions can optimize the light-absorption and the photocarrier-collection independently. Novel connection of the solar cells can convert virtually the whole spectrum of sun light into electricity with a single output voltage.

A novel string connected MIC based power conditioning system in the next generation

To suppress the output power decline due to insolation intensity un-uniformity, string connected MIC based PCS is advantageous. An advanced type string MIC based PCS with a simple circuit topology and control strategy which is suited for next generation SiC power device applications is proposed.
